What "crewed" means
On a crewed charter, a professional captain runs the yacht and plans the route with you, subject to weather. Most yachts over about 40 feet also carry a chef, and larger motor yachts add stewardesses, a mate or an engineer. The alternative, a bareboat charter, puts you in command with no crew aboard — not something Vessel Vista's guides cover, since it suits a different kind of traveler.

What's included
The charter fee covers the yacht and crew. Food, drinks, fuel, dockage and most activities are typically billed through the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) unless the contract is all-inclusive.
